Labour Councillors and Candidates

In every election, FHCLP puts forward committed members of our local community to stand for office as Town or Parish Councillors – or at District or County level.

We have seen our share of the vote grow rapidly over the last four years, with great results in the May 2021 elections and at the last two parliamentary elections, Labour has really gained a lot of ground on the current Tory MP.

We are looking to make further gains in the forthcoming elections, May 4th 2023. If you want to help our campaign, just get in touch and work with us for the real change which is needed in our communities. Please email comms@fhlabour.org

What does a Councillor do?

Councillors represent wards in their towns much like MPs represent constituencies in Parliament. There is a fantastic, informative guide to becoming and being a Labour councillor here.
